Why Future Minds Counselling?

Future Minds, the National Educational and Career Gateway ventures into its 2018 edition with the foremost intention of empowering the youth to fulfil their needs for private higher education. Future Minds consisting of a series of exhibitions inaugurates at BMICH on 15th, 16th and 17th of June, moving in to Kandy at the KCC from 22nd to 23rd June and finally at the Hall de Galle from 08th to 09th September.

With the theme “No one left behind”, Future Minds focuses on creating an ideal platform with concept of a higher education hub providing all requirements of a student to pursue his or her higher education under one roof. Extending services from traditional higher education exhibition, Future Minds consists of a center for career guidance and a financial zone to provide financial support for higher education.

The exhibition which is career guidance driven allows the visiting students to go through an orientation programme preparing them to extract the best value from the expo thus creating fertile ground for higher education providers to effectively engage students in prospects that are on offer. A psychometric test measures the students and then they will be directed to general counselling session followed on by a panel of high calibre industry experts, with whom the students can have one-on-one sessions. This demonstrates the emphasis placed by Future Minds to create the most focused higher education forum in the island.

The "Corporate Corner" positioned in this programme brings about counselling from industry experts and professionals for students. The Corporate Counsellors elucidate the expectations of the corporate sector in terms of specific stream, recognition of a degree as well as financing options and job placement rates for a choice of career. This interaction also creates a much-needed exchange between future employee prospects and relevant industries.
